Role Overview

A unique opportunity to help a people-first tech company scale to big heights (help us reach 10x). Work with managers and the wider team to drive a high-performing, people-first culture. As the first People Partner to join our 140-person business, this role will be central to the growth of the People & Talent (P&T) team, from a transactional one into a credible and commercial function.

You’ll partner and coach managers to increase performance and engagement in their teams, setting them up for success. In addition to business partnering, you’ll be responsible for our international people operations (we have people in the US & EU), ensuring our global talent have the right people processes in place, and are fully compliant. You’ll set up our international people operations as we scale, while training our P&T Co-ordinator to support where needed.

This is an operationally hands-on, high-impact ‘build’ and ‘deliver’ role in an empowering company where you can really make a difference to a scaling business. While this role does involve oversight of transactional HR, we’re seeking someone who can really apply themselves to problem-solving and strategic thinking, using their commercial acumen to create high-impact, purpose driven initiatives to enable teams.

No two days will be the same. You’ll need to be comfortable building a strategic business plan with a senior leader, analysing employee feedback, and amending our company policies one day, whilst driving a positive health initiative or leading a complex international employee relations challenge the next.
